MARK DeGROSS

Passion runs deep for Mark DeGross and it shows in everything he throws himself into.  Mark has been instructing at Track Time for the last few years in a 1-on-1 coaching role.  Having been involved with the local racing and track day community for 20+ years, Mark brings a vast amount of experience, wisdom, and insight to help TrackTime riders experience the kind of day to remember.

Like most of us who spend much of our time at the track, motorcycles have been a part of Mark’s life for as long as he can remember.  The track day and racing bug bit him early in 2001 when he first hit the track in Pahrump, Nevada at a Jason Pridmore school.  It was only a few month later he began racing in WMRRA and a mere 25 months later he was sitting on the AMA grid starting his first ever AMA race at Infineon.  Over the last 24 years Mark has competed in WMRRA, OMRRA, AFM, CMVA and AMA events at tracks all over the West Coast. With numerous class wins & championships, in addition to two #1 overall plates with WMRRA in 2012 & 2016,  A multi-time attendee of Jason Pridmore’s STAR schools, Mark has also attended several Freddie Spencer’s schools in Las Vegas, Mike Sullivan schools locally, and multiple Yamaha Champions Riders School events and is currently a certified YCRS 3C coach,  all the while being a sponge in the process and a true student of the sport. In short, Mark’s track day, school, and racing results provide him a wealth of experience to share with Track Time customers to help them achieve their riding goals.  Mark has the unique ability of breaking down techniques into easily understandable, yet practical concepts that will propel your riding to the next level.  You will see him out on the track instructing on his Yamaha R1.  Don’t be shy about seeking his help, as one of the most upbeat and helpful guys you’ll ever meet, you’re guaranteed to come back from the session with a smile on your face and an improvement in your riding.
