Don, a.k.a. Super Don, is an Olympia Washington resident and has been an avid motorcycle enthusiast for over 40 years, 33 of them spent street riding. In the 70's as a ten-year-old punk kid with nothing better to do, Don was introduced to mini bikes to help redirect his misspent energies. Literally from the first ride, Don was hooked and has never been without a motorcycle to ride.  He is still learning and advancing his skills every time he rides his bikes.

During the 80's and 90's, Super Don expanded his skills at local area motorcycle shops as a mechanic.  This allowed many opportunities to work as a mechanic and pit man for several  local flat track and roadrace teams. Don was even goaded into racing flat track for a stint in the 90's.

As Super Don dedicated his time to the security of his family, years of elevated riding flashed by. Four years ago, Super Don realized his offspring were self sufficient and not likely to "boomerang", so he started signing up for track days at The Ridge.

He quickly shifted his focus to riding the 250cc motorcycles choosing them for their agility, and ability to show larger displacement machines the quick way through the corners. His enthusiasm for riding has never subsided and Don continues to grow, as does his skills.

You may see him at the track with several different bikes. Among his favorites are his  2012 Ninja 250, 2003 XR650L Super-Moto,

and his 1988 NT650 Hawk GT.
